Trade Account Customers

Ordering Online

Ordering online as an account customer is simple. You don't need to log in, just go through the ordering process as normal and put the company name or account number in during the checkout stage. We'll take it from there! One of our hire controllers will apply your discount to the order when they contact you to confirm.

  • Submit order and wait for our hire controller to call you to confirm and apply any discounts

Set Up an Account

Most of our regular customers have trade accounts. Applying for a Hireman trade account is simple:

All you need to do is complete and submit an account form that is available from any of our depots, or alternatively download the application form here. Subject to status you'll be able to charge all tool and equipment hire to your trade account. You will also get access to our Hireman Portal, where you can check your invoices and hire history online.

Once a trade account is opened you can order equipment by any of the following means:

  • In-person
  • Phone
  • Online
  • Email

Once your order is placed we can usually supply your equipment the same day.
Please note our opening hours are Monday-Friday, 07:30 - 17:00.

Non-Account Customers


All our weekly prices are quoted in our brochure/website, with weekend and day rates available on request.

Delivery and Collection

Rates for delivery and collection vary depending on distance and type of equipment hired.


We require two forms of identification which must include a photo card driving license along with a bank statement or utility bill reflecting a three-month period. 

ID must be brought to the depot with you when you pick up your equipment.


We accept all major credit cards (except American Express). All standard hire charges are taken upfront along with a deposit.


Deposits are required for all equipment hire, and vary depending upon equipment type and length of hire.


You are responsible for all hired equipment during the hire period and will be charged for any loss or damage incurred during that time. The equipment remains your responsibility until it is returned to, or collected by, The Hireman (London) Ltd.

Equipment Return

It is the customer's responsibility to return or arrange collection for any hired equipment.
