It is a legal requirement that anyone mounting or using an abrasive or diamond wheel must have completed abrasive wheel training.
The Abrasive Wheel training course focuses on the selection and inspection of different wheels. You’ll learn how to pick the right wheel for the right machine, while also understanding what constitutes a ‘red flag’ when it comes to individual wheels.
The course goes on to discuss the PPE requirements for working with abrasive wheels and the most common injuries suffered by misuse.
In addition, bolt-on practical sessions are available on request.
Successful delegates will receive a Hireman accredited certificate, valid for 5 years.
