Trade Account Customers

The vast majority of our business is done through trade accounts, applying for a Hireman account is simple.

All you need to do is complete and submit an account form which is available from any of our depots, alternatively you can download the application form here. Subject to status you’ll be able to charge all tool and equipment hire to your trade account.

Once a trade account is open you can order equipment by any of the following means:

  • In person, all our depots have trade counters, although we always advise you to phone and check stock first.

Once your order is placed we can normally supply your equipment same day, often within 3-4 hours.

Please note, our opening hours are: 07:30-17:30 Mon-Fri and 08:00-12:00 Sat.

Non-Account Customers

Pricing All our weekly prices are quoted in our brochure/website, with weekend and day rates available on request.

Delivery and Collection Rates for delivery and collection vary depending on distance and type of equipment hired.

Identification We require two forms of identification which must include a photo card driving license along with a bank statement or utility bill.

Payment We accept all major credit cards (except American Express). All standard hire charges are taken upfront along with a deposit.

Deposit Deposits are required for all equipment hire, and vary depending upon equipment type and length of hire.

Security You are responsible for all hired equipment during the hire period and will be charged for any loss or damage incurred during that time. The equipment remains your responsibility until it is returned to, or collected by, The Hireman (London) Ltd.

Equipment Return It is the customer’s responsibility to return or arrange collection for any hired equipment.
