The Hireman was founded in 1985 by Bruce Graham and his wife Jean. With seventeen years experience in the hire industry they were motivated by a desire to work for themselves and with a firm conviction that they could match or beat the highest standards for professionalism and customer service in the hire industry in London, The Hireman was born.
In 2010 The Hireman celebrated its 25th anniversary in the hire industry. The last 25 years have seen boom and bust yet The Hireman has gone from strength to strength. With depots in Central and West London the Hireman is well placed to grow and reinforce its position in the plant & tool hire industry. An Expansion into tool repair, equipment sales and safety training has allowed the company to ride out the financial storms and to build its reputation as a loyal and trusted partner to London’s construction industry.
As the company has grown so has the team, our head office oversees the administration and running of the business allowing our depot staff to focus on what is important – our customers. The Hireman’s ethos of providing the best possible service is ingrained in the very fibre of the business and acts as a building block in everything we do. Our vision and values have remained unchanged over the last 25 years and we instil these values into our staff.
At the core of our business is the desire to help our customers and as the business has grown this has become the company motto. At The Hireman we have retained our small, family run business roots but have the vision and drive of a modern 21st century organisation. We hope that the next 25 years are just as challenging and successful, and we hope that our customers prosper and thrive with our support and knowledge.
